After finding this listed as an article for improvement, I attempted to open the PDF listing the would-be diagnostic crtieria for hypersexuality so I could improve the way it was listed in the article. However, opening the PDF in my browser and in Sumatra PDF both returned an error message, and my downloads manager says the file contains 0 bytes. Is this an issue other people have been facing, and if so, is there another place the criteria is listed one could use as a citation? Vaticidalprophet (talk) 09:01, 29 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]

It seems that the link that links to the "American Psychiatric Association DSM-5 Development Page for Hypersexual Disorder" might lead to another source now but I can't figure out where the original source for the article would be.

Applyability of CSBD to Etchi

[edit]

What about the applicability of CSBD to Etchi that I would agrument as fantasy for (young) men? The Other Karma (talk) 21:38, 26 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Wikipedia does not impart medical advice. tgeorgescu (talk) 22:44, 26 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Thats not what i meant, according to the Papers and the ICD-11 in the Article, its not about sexuall fantsies its about Sexuall Impulses, so the introduction from the article is wrong. The Other Karma (talk) 14:08, 2 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]
I have read the above several times, but it is still unclear to me what your point is. tgeorgescu (talk) 08:46, 5 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Martinez-Gilliard

[edit]

Do I buy into her views about body-mind-spirit interventions or into her talk about "wellness"? No.

Is her book a WP:RS for the claim made? Yes, definitely. tgeorgescu (talk) 08:48, 5 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Move discussion in progress

[edit]

There is a move discussion in progress on Talk:Pornography addiction which affects this page. Please participate on that page and not in this talk page section. Thank you. —RMCD bot 21:46, 27 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Replace 'The DSM-5 and DSM-5-TR have no such diagnosis'?

[edit]

i believe hypersexuality/CSBD would count as Other Specified Sexual Dysfunction or Unspecified Sexual Dysfunction. KIMORII (talk) 21:40, 29 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]

There are ways to dodge the DSM, what you point out above is one of them. tgeorgescu (talk) 01:50, 30 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
