Merger proposal
[edit]I propose that Community of St. John Baptist (Mendham, New Jersey) should be merged to this article. The separate American article is merely a stub, and adds virtually nothing to what is here in the main article. Timothy Titus Talk To TT 22:15, 1 January 2011 (UTC)
- I've left this for a full four months and nobody has commented, so I have now executed the merge. No material has been lost, and the necessary redirects, templates, and edit summaries have all been left. Timothy Titus Talk To TT 16:59, 1 May 2011 (UTC)
Links
[edit]FYI, I am too new as a wikipedia editor to know how to use these pages. I noticed that the last link on the main webpage (to biographical materials or workpapers of Harriet Monsell) is now broken. I'm not sure how to correct it, but I am preparing a wikipedia page for Harriet Monsell, since she's one of the few Anglican saints in the Church of England calendar without one. Jweaver28 (talk) 20:15, 16 July 2012 (UTC)
- Thanks for your message. Firstly, I've moved it to the bottom of the page - we always leave new messages at the BOTTOM of a talk page, never the top. Secondly, I've repaired the broken link for you - it now works fine. Thirdly, well done on your new article under preparation - I look forward to reading it. Odd name. Why not the Baptist?
[edit]Arminden (talk) 17:06, 12 October 2020 (UTC)
- Some people call him John Baptist, some call him John the Baptist, some call him John the Baptiser, some call him John the Baptizer, some call him the Forerunner; none is odd, they're all just different. Timothy Titus Talk To TT 17:40, 12 October 2020 (UTC)
