Notability

[edit]

I doubt this neologism is really notable enough outside academic sociology. VanTucky Talk 04:44, 6 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

The term is extensively used by the British media and various public authorities, especially when there's been a riot or disturbance that's linked with ethnic or religious tensions. --Smallbone10 (talk) 13:03, 23 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

So who exactly are these "community leaders"?

[edit]

When a newspaper says "community leaders" did this-and-that, who is being referred to? The clergy? Freemasons? Businessmen? I've seen this in American news stories as well as British ones. 184.57.129.13 (talk) 11:19, 19 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]
