What to Call Them?
[edit]Commodore Nutt is called a "dwarf" (linked to dwarfism.)
General Tom Thumb is called a midget.
Tom's wife Lavinia Warren is called a "vertically challenged person" (linked to proportionate dwarfism.)
Lavinia's sister Minnie Warren (born Huldah Pierce Warren Bump) is called a "little person" (also linked to dwarfism). Lavinia's second husband Count Primo Magri is, in his own article, similarly referred to as a "little person" => dwarfism in his own article, although in his wife's extensive article he is also called a "dwarf".
And it seems that most of these characters have "proportionate dwarfism," yet that article is itself redirected to "Dwarfism"!
Would someone like to decide on a common oplicy and implement it here? Please? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 192.115.133.116 (talk) 19:58, 9 September 2008 (UTC)
