Song table Proposal
[edit]Song table (series 2)
[edit]Just to give an idea what a completed table might look like. I don't have all the information so if anyone could fill it in that would be really good (also I haven't checked that all the links are correcet). Also I prefer my way of doing the end bit about who was saved and expelled to the proposal above, although I like the colours.
^Note 1 : Dawn and Reggie had the same number of votes each from the Students so it went back to the public vote.
^Note 2 : All the students returned for the vote
As you can see, when they start singing in groups and doing duets and singing multiple songs, it gets a bit crowded! — AnemoneProjectors (talk) 17:59, 11 March 2007 (UTC)
- Okay, racking my brian now, there's got to be a way to resolve this. ~~ Peteb16 18:28, 11 March 2007 (UTC)
- There's a way to put a line in a box, that would work, but I can't figure it out. — AnemoneProjectors (talk) 18:35, 11 March 2007 (UTC)
- I can do lines, not sure if it'll help, but it's worth a try. ~~ Peteb16 18:43, 11 March 2007 (UTC)

- I've put a line in one box (Edith, day 5) to see how it would look. — AnemoneProjectors (talk) 18:47, 11 March 2007 (UTC)
- I've put a couple more lines in boxes. :D ~~ Peteb16 19:47, 11 March 2007 (UTC)
- Ah, you've done it differently! That works... so let's do that! If we can fill in the rest of the information for the series 2 table then we can add it to the article... and I think we should definitely put the series 3 box in the article (using my final three columns?). — AnemoneProjectors (talk) 19:53, 11 March 2007 (UTC)
- Comments on the colours? ~~ Peteb16 20:40, 11 March 2007 (UTC)
- What do they mean, exactly? — AnemoneProjectors (talk) 20:50, 11 March 2007 (UTC)
- Nothing really, I just did it to show up the group songs and pair up the duets. I'm not sure I've got the best colours for the job however ~~ Peteb16 22:19, 11 March 2007 (UTC)
- Well it makes it clearer to see who was in the same group/duet, I think only two colours are needed, one for each song performed on each day. — AnemoneProjectors (zomg!) 23:16, 11 March 2007 (UTC)

Name Change
[edit]The official title of the program is "Comic Relief does Fame Academy" as is stated clearly on the official BBC Fame Academy website (http://www.bbc.co.uk/fameacademy). Although it is capitalized elsewhere, the page should still be placed at "does" instead of "Does". It has already been moved once, can anyone help move back? Timclare (talk) (sign here) 16:09, 16 March 2007 (UTC)
- I agree that it should have a lower case d. Comic Relief and Fame Academy are two separate entities, and the "does" links them, and is rightly on the website written with a lower case letter. -Trampikey(talk)(contribs) 17:01, 16 March 2007 (UTC)
- It doesn't matter that they happen to use a lower case letter on their website. Lots of TV shows, albums, songs, films, etc, use capital letters where Wikipedia does not, and vice versa. This now goes against Wikipedia's manual of style and naming conventions. And having one person agree with you doesn't mean you should go ahead and make changes. That's not what consensus means. — AnemoneProjectors (zomg!) 21:59, 16 March 2007 (UTC)
- Please provide a link to where it says there can't be a lower case "does" in the title. As far as I can see, Wikipedia aims to provide correct factual information; and the correct name has a lower case letter. -Trampikey(talk)(contribs) 01:25, 18 March 2007 (UTC)
- Well, on the CRDFA website (http://www.bbc.co.uk/fameacademy) it currently says "Tara is your winner of Comic Relief Does Fame Academy 2007!" So there. — AnemoneProjectors (zomg!) 14:40, 18 March 2007 (UTC)
- However, the page header has a lower case "d", as does this page... it's a fair mix, I'll grant you that, but I think with a lower case "d" it makes more sense, as they're two separate things... but either way is fine... I'm still interested as to where it says about the capital letter in WP:MOS though! :P -Trampikey(talk)(contribs) 14:47, 18 March 2007 (UTC)
- Well I can't find the specific page but words like in, on, at, of, the, a, an, etc, should be lower case in articles about TV shows, songs, albums, films, books, etc. Does isn't one of those words. — AnemoneProjectors (zomg!) 19:54, 18 March 2007 (UTC)
Comic Relief does Fame Academy
[edit]Early next year sees the return of Comic Relief does Fame Academy. Very exciting stuff and should be set for a few laughs. Not sure as yet who our victims, sorry, students will be. A Candela (talk) 21:22, 6 September 2008 (UTC)
Does anybody have any information about the show returning for Comic Relief 2011?--Cooly123 19:31, 3 October 2010 (UTC)
