Really nice work here, getting an unreferenced stub to a detailed, accurate, and interesting article with really good images. L293D ( • ) 14:05, 8 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Image copyright looks good, though this is the first time I see this copyright template.

Every thing good, as usual.

Lead

[edit]

Lead looks good, I might suggest that you expand it a bit if you want, with perhaps some technical info (main battery caliber, torpedo tubes).

Design

[edit]
  • whose ability to elevate to 45 degrees gave them a limited ability to deal with low-flying aircraft - just a detail, but could you clarify if the main battery's effectiveness against aircraft was better or worse than the preceding class. Does "limited" mean they had a limited ability to do something the previous class couldn't, or does it mean it's ability was limited compared to it predecessors?
    • None of my references mention any ability of the earlier destroyers to engage aircraft aircraft at all. Since it's not mentioned I can't source any kind of comparison so I had to leave it out. 45° of elevation for these ships only allows the engagement of low-level aircraft at best.
  • Do we have the range of the torpedoes?
    • Added.

The rest looks good. L293D ( • ) 14:05, 8 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for the review; see if my changes are satisfactory.--Sturmvogel 66 (talk) 22:37, 11 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Looks good, but could clarify what " for SI 270 torpedoes" means? The DD carried 270 torpedoes on board? L293D ( • ) 02:22, 12 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]
That's the name of the torpedo.--Sturmvogel 66 (talk) 03:17, 12 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Okay, great! L293D ( • ) 03:32, 12 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]
