"Coluracetam enhances high-affinity choline uptake (HACU) which is the rate-limiting step of acetylcholine (ACh) synthesis, and is the only known choline uptake enhancer to currently exist" I am not sure this is true, Sulbutiamine also enhances HACU : http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/4059305 "Parallel neurochemical investigations showed that the treatment induced a slight (+ 10%) but significant increase in hippocampal sodium-dependent high affinity choline uptake." — Preceding unsigned comment added by 109.21.238.236 (talk) 21:05, 24 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]
