Differences between Columbia Southern and Belford University

[edit]

What is the difference between CSU and Belford university, where they are following the same procedure except that the former is more expensive and little books are included, where the latter is cheaper and direct!!!!!!!!!!! — Preceding unsigned comment added by 212.71.37.82 (talk) 03:28, June 14, 2007

The difference between Columbia Southern University and Belford University is that the former, like any other accredited universities, is a duly constituted and accredited institute of higher learning whereby degrees and diplomas are conferred only upon successful completion of all relevant courses. ~~121.6.107.124 13:13, 5 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Belford is a diploma mill, you can complete an application and have a degree sent to you in 7 days for about $500, CSU has individual classes, is accredited by a agency RECOGNIZED by the US Dept of Education. So basically, there is no comparison. It is a legal and accredited university. And it actually has cheap tuition compared to many other online schools. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 66.142.188.187 (talk) 15:07, 3 January 2009 (UTC) <[reply]

since posting the above.........i still believe in this school. i have finished a semester there and it is NOT a fly by night diploma mill. I went to the university of texas when i was younger, and these classes challenge me just as much.!--Autosigned by SineBot-->

after making my statement above, i too still believe in CSU. i started there in january and have taken several classes. obviously it would take somebody with no college experience at all to say that CSU is a diploma mill. i was a student at the university of texas at arlington and this is not some easy, fly-by-night school. actually i feel an online school is tougher, because it leaves it up to you to do all your work. you have to be more mature, organized and balanced to do online work. instead you have 18 year olds going to a brick and mortar school being told that something is due the next class, that doesnt happen in the online environment. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 99.20.121.216 (talk) 21:29, 23 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I finished my Bachelor's in Occupational Safety at CSU. If it is the same as Belford as you mentioned, then why did it take me 4 years to complete my BS? At Belford you buy your fake diploma and have it shipped to you for a fee. At CSU, you EARN an accredited degree after years of effort and taking courses. Obviously you have never been to college. Oh and CSU is accredited by the Dept. of Education, which makes it a legal and usuable degree when finding a job, if you used the Belford degree, you would actually be breaking the law. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 108.66.239.173 (talk) 21:42, 13 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Is it possible for everyone who posts here after 2007 to actually read the post by 121.6.107.124. He said that CSU was not a diploma mill. So defending CSU is unneccessary. Fredrik Coulter (talk) 14:55, 15 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]
