Lewis and Clark measurement
[edit]The referenced book 0-8032-6434-8 contains a table of different Falls measurements:
Great Falls | 87 feet, 3/4 inches |
Crooked Falls | 19 feet |
Rainbow Falls | 47 feet, 6 inches |
Colter Falls | 6 feet, 7 inches |
Black Eagle Falls | 26 feet, 5 inches |
I removed the statement that Lewis and Clark measured Colter Falls to be 6 feet 7 inches because it is not clear to me that the book claims they made these measurements. The names used in the table are names later given to the falls, and I doubt they measured the falls to quarter inch precision. I can't find where the book states where these measurements come from.
