I still support the original proposal as a strict improvement over the current title, but I see how neither is especially ideal. User:No such user, thanks for closing, but “Cologne in German colonial empire”? You’re not Russian are you? I can’t find an explanation in English articles but it definitely reads wrong. “Cologne in Germany” works, but it would be “Cologne in the German Empire” etc. I’m sure someone knows for sure.
