Changin "American" by "North American". It's so stupid call "American" only to USA people. A lot of people of other countries are American too. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 200.69.226.5 (talk) 17:19, August 21, 2007 (UTC)

Mexico and Canada are part of North America also, North American doesn't work either. So maybe it should simply be United States of America. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 65.73.216.102 (talk) 16:43, 2 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Oregon / East Germany ??

[edit]

"...was killed in an automobile accident in East Germany during a 1984 Oregon concert tour."

Really? If he was on a concert tour of Oregon, how could he have been killed in East Germany -during- the tour? Last I looked, there were several thousand miles and an ocean between the two places. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 74.92.174.105 (talk) 02:01, 28 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

To the above questioner : it takes some doing to attempt to make the stupidest comment on Wikipedia. My heartiest congratulations on taking on this challenge!

I have edited the Walcott entry to include that Walcott was among those Paul Winter group members to form the band Oregon. So indeed Walcott was killed during the band Oregon's 1984 tour of East Germany; although I have read elsewhere that it was the tour bus and not an automobile crash that killed Walcott and the group's East German tour promoter.
