Updates to Klein Biography

[edit]

Consider updating the first paragraph with the following:

Collin Klein (born September 19, 1989) is an assistant football coach at Kansas State University and former Canadian Football League quarterback. [1] [2] Prior to becoming a coach, Klein played for the Montreal Alouettes. [3] He is most well known for his career as an American college football quarterback for the Kansas State Wildcats. Klein earned national accolades and was a Heisman Trophy finalist during his final season, which ended with an 11-2 record and a trip to the 2013 Fiesta Bowl. [4] [5]

Please Fix This Sentence

[edit]

"On September 22, 2012, Kansas State would upset the sixth-ranked Oklahoma Sooners in Norman, 24-19—the first time in Bob Stoops's tenure as head coach that the Sooners lost to a ranked team at home."

This whole sentence needs re-worded. K-State did not upset anybody (Upset is subjective). K-State brought back 17 starters in 2012. They were supposed to win this game. This is not an upset. Just say that they beat the 6th ranked Oklahoma Sooners in Norman 24-19.

The whole mention of Bob Stoops and losing to a ranked team at home for the first time is unnecessary. This article is not about Bob Stoops and his record at Memorial Stadium in Norman, Oklahoma. Please get it off the page. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 66.210.29.131 (talk) 19:55, 22 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]
