Sky Blue FC?

[edit]

I cannot find any reliable sources to confirm McCallum is currently a Sky Blue FC player. Sky Blue's player index (which can be found here - has to be searched) doesn't have McCallum on the list. The live match summary from the W-League Melbourne v Perth match confirms McCallum was subbed on in the 58th minute for Ella Mastratonio. This edit in August by an IP, changing McCallum's caps for the Sky Blues to 23, appears to be vanalism and I have reverted it. I will also remove all references to Sky Blue FC in the article until someone can provide significant proof that she has played or is playing (somehow) for them. --timsdad (talk) 13:02, 6 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Given that the American WPS season finishes before the Australian W-League season commences, it is therefore possible for someone to play in both competitions, as occurs with McCallum and her Perth teammate Lisa de Vanna. Whilst it is true that she is not listed amongst the players on the site above, she is listed here, in the match report for the championship game as being substituted on in the 71st minute. Also, in the statistics on that same site Collette is recorded as having played 20 matches. I think that the probable explanation for her not appearing in the players is that she has been released from her contract, so as to be able to play in Australia, and so therefore should be listed as a current Perth Glory player.
