Is there any more detail about why he chose Oregon? Was he offered scholarships to other schools?

In any case, I looked at Newspapers.com since they tend to be a little better about high school athletes, as well as the Ducks website, and couldn't find anything besides his commitment to Oregon, so I think he kind of went with the first school that scouted him. — Ghost River 17:28, 9 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Why is first Dodgers rookie WL to List of Major League Baseball players to hit for the cycle?

Additionally, pitchers began avoiding Bellinger where possible. This doesn't make sense, the article does not mention pitchers refusing to go up against him. Maybe re-word this so explain that pitchers avoided certain throws against him (which is what I assume you meant).
