Role of coccygeus in animals?
[edit]I am a medical student, and one of my anatomy lecturers said that coccygeus wags the tail of animals that have a tail. Is this true? If so, can it be added to the article with a reference? FSHero (talk) 18:50, 8 May 2008 (UTC)
- I just added a section to the Levator ani article on this very point, complete with reference. But I did come across another source on Google Books that explicitly mentions the coccygeus. I'm guessing it's not a case of either-or, that the two work in tandem, but unfortunately I've yet to find a source that says as much. Iskunk (talk) 08:27, 17 May 2008 (UTC)
