COCEI members run for election, but the movement itself is not a political party. Their candidates have always be endorsed by a political party (PSUM, PRD, PRI and PT) in order to run. Mixcoatl (talk) 18:53, 20 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]
But that's depending on the fact that the lack registration as a political party, right? If it periodically launches candidates for election, be it on tickets of other parties, and participates in government, it is de facto a political party. --Soman (talk) 20:15, 20 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]
