Deletion?
[edit]The deletion proposal has been made primarily to see if anyone wishes to work on the article, which has lain dormant for well over a year. It could work as an overview over a considerable time frame or, given it's categorisation, it could work as something more specific about napoleonic warfare (although it relationships to Line (formation) and Column (formation) would need to be clarified. - It's a long time since I wrote this and little has been done on it. I have therefore decided to add a few bits of information on the origins of close order. Others may see fit to work on it's historical development. I've also taken the opportunity to add a few images Monstrelet (talk) 15:08, 1 August 2011 (UTC)
