Proposed Deletion

[edit]

Could I possibly ask why this page was proposed for deletion. This article was recently created is currently under construction as the {{new page}} states. It be worthwhile looking at the essay Don't demolish the house while it's still being built. Andrewmc123 20:29, 20 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

  • The article says nothing that's specific to Scotland. I could replace the word Scotland with that of any other country - Norway, say, or New Zealand - and the article would still be just as correct and just as uninformative. I'm happy to leave it for a couple of days for you to add something Scottish to it but after that I'll take it to AfD. andy (talk) 21:28, 20 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]
The article does mention the fact of Scotland's diverse and almost unique ecosystems. Thanks for yur co-operation in this matter.Andrewmc123 15:29, 21 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Suggested changes to headings and structure

[edit]

I suggest to change the headings and structure of this article to be in line with the template that has been proposed here for all articles of the nature "Climate change in Country X": https://wiki.riteme.site/wiki/Wikipedia:WikiProject_Climate_change/Style_guide (see also discussion on that page's talk page). Anyone has any objections? If not, who's got time to give it a go? I am slowly working away at this for all the countries but would love some collaborators. EMsmile (talk) 03:52, 5 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Done but needs more content (missing section on "Society and culture"). I also checked if it's linked from Scotland and it's not yet linked. I left a comment on the talk page of Climate of Scotland because at the very least it should be linked from there. EMsmile (talk) 03:13, 2 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]
