I fin it hilarious that the article states no shrink wrap. However for the packing company I work for we use a ton of stretch-wrap to wrap the pallets. Kinda hypocritical there. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 76.127.70.60 (talk) 08:18, 15 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Under the Products heading, the article mentions that Clif bars have non-GMO sourced ingredients. However, the article used as a reference (#13) makes no mentions of the GMO or non-GMO status of the ingredients (it does mention things like no high fructose corn syrup, though). The Clif Bar main web site also does not confirm or deny the GMO status of their ingredients (but again, like reference #13, does support the comments concerning other ingredients.

Notability/advertisement

[edit]

Is anyone concerned about this article's conformity to WP guidelines concerning notability and advertising? While the content is original, it is based on three sources, two of which are press releases. And while there's a lot of information here, the majority of it is devoted to product lists. I'm well aware of this product, so I can't honestly question its notability; instead, I'm calling into question its compliance with notability and NPOV guidelines, given the lack of secondary source material. Yeah, I agree it needs a bit of work. I'm going to remove the list of flavors to start with, but there's definitely more that could be improved. I'll see what sort of third-party sources I can find. SheepNotGoats (talk) 01:26, 30 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]
It looks like a bot added an advertising tag to the page. Since this looks like it might have come as a result of this year-old discussion, I'm removing it. The page is pretty comprehensive, with over 30 third-party sources, and definitely has expanded from more than just a list of products.Svernon19 (talk) 23:58, 1 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]

this whole page reads like a long advertisment. i'm not gonna do anything about it though. 78.147.1.156 (talk) 17:18, 25 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

If you are going to accuse me of COI, please post it on WP:COIN. And if you are going to challenge this article's neutrality, please be specific so that any bias can be dealt with, per WP:TAGGING. Barte (talk) 22:43, 29 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Would it not be useful for this article to explain/describe what a 'Clif bar' is?
