Hello all,

I stumbled upon this interesting article and thought that this page could do with some information regarding what's described in this article, mainly being the smell of the plant and cases of sickness attributable to the plant.

Problem is, I'm not sure on where the information will fit, as I am unfamiliar with the structuring of such a topic and page.

It would be appreciated if any information could be provided on how this could be done.

That's interesting. Trouble is, the citation is to a blog, which doesn't satisfy WP:RS (I'd leave it there, though, since I think it is valuable to the page.) Several other species of Cleome also have common names that refer to bad smells but I can't find another citation for that exact common name. There is some related information about its use as a pest repellent here and here and here, so I'd suggest that if you are interested in doing the work, the uses section could be expanded. Cleome viscosa also has pest-repellent uses, so perhaps could be listed under a "See also" heading. Sminthopsis84 (talk) 12:00, 17 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Adding some informations on cultivation and agronomic features

[edit]

Hello everyone,

As part of school research for my university studies in agronomy, I became interested in Cleome Gynandra and would like to add a lot of information regarding the plant's use in some traditional cropping systems. In order to do this, I have made major changes to the page, adding several sections that were previously missing.

You can find a comparison between the current look of the page and my updates in my sandbox at this link

Let me know what you think, also about the added bibliography. Setetti (talk) 14:12, 4 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
