[edit]I am tagging this article {{Refimprove}} because it is not listed on online maps. USGS says the place is alternately named Nelson. The article needs references that clearly show that Clegg is distinct from Nelson, North Carolina. • Gene93k (talk) 18:09, 28 March 2008 (UTC)
- Looking at [1], it appears that Clegg is right at the border of Wake and Durham counties. It is identified by USGS records alone, so in that sense, the given reference is sufficient. I've tagged it as {{disputed}} and removed {{refimprove}}. There's a slim chance that someone familiar with the area might stumble upon this article and clear up the confusion. ˉˉanetode╦╩ 00:09, 9 August 2008 (UTC)
- Satellite imagery on Google maps show recent construction. It has a census code and GNIS says it is a populated place. What more proof could you ask for. In my opinion there is no cause to dispute the existence of this named location. I removed the tag. --droll [chat] 22:47, 18 May 2009 (UTC)
