Experimentation
[edit]claudia did not willingly want to be experimented on
[edit]All right so it's been a long time since I read the book but I am sure Armand simply states that he experimented on Claudia, trying to paste her head on a grown woman's body. He did not say it was with her permission. Even the slightest familiarity with Claudia would tell you that she would NOT have given herself into Armand's not so tender care. She never liked him and would never have trusted him. Gigei 10:25, 20 February 2007 (UTC)
- I'm sure this could be your speculation and interpretation of the characters... However, her actions in "Interview with the Vampire" suggest that she had a preoccupation (bordering upon dangerous obsession) with the adult female form, going to the extent of keeping a corpse beneath her heaps of dolls to secretly study and draw it.
- She did this in the movie, not the book. --Mrlopez2681 (talk) 19:39, 14 July 2008 (UTC)
- I'm sure her obsession with adulthoood could have overridden her distrust of Armand, as obsessions often blind us. He may have promised her that it would complete successfully, since Mekare's vampiric eye adoption worked perfectly. Let's not forget the fact that she took great care in observing, hunting, drawing, and philosophizing on adulthood and what it truly means to "grow up."

Fair use rationale for Image:Claudia.jpg
[edit]Image:Claudia.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

- first off, that picture's not Kristen Dunst as Claudia, neither the Claudia at the musical. Second. I have a good picture of Kristen as Claudia, but have no idea of how to add it. I'm having trouble with the templates as it states source... and I have no idea where I got it, I've had it for soemtime now as far as I remember.--The Brat Princess (talk) 09:23, 12 November 2008 (UTC)
