Disambiguation - Class of '09 Visual Novel

[edit]

The Class of '09, the visual novel needs its own page.

It's now relevant enough to have it's own page.

No, it is not when there are no reliable sources at all. — YoungForever(talk) 00:36, 28 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Can the reliable source not be the creator/game itself? Tulip0333 (talk) 15:58, 11 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Of course, they just need to be reliable sources. — YoungForever(talk) 19:33, 16 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Wikipedia is very Bureaucratic. an official trusted source needs to review the game before its allowed. 82.46.56.47 (talk) 22:32, 4 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
What is a trusted source anyway? A paywalled newspaper? I am sorry no authors of reliable sources are actually reviewing the game, it is a very good game. -- Il Gatto Obeso (talk) 07:15, 21 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Everything needs to be reliable sourced on Wikipedia. User-generated content is not reliable sources. — YoungForever(talk) 18:22, 21 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]
This is so true. There has been so, so much important media being generated from within social media in recent years. If Wikipedia doesn't modernize its standards for sources then it will run the risk of going the way paper encyclopedias did. This is the de fact knowledge base of the entire internet. Now, I don't know what might replace this place, but whenever I need to know what something I saw on the Internet is, I come to Wikipedia. If it "isn't noteworthy" then I ask my 19 year old nephew because he will somehow invariably know it. I would imagine that I'm not the only person who is in this situation. I feel the creator of the game saying something on Twitter or the Steam page is a trusted enough source, it's straight *from* the source! Tulip0333 (talk) 13:58, 13 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
It is not if it is not from a verified account with a checkmark. — YoungForever(talk) 15:50, 13 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
On Steam, if I'm not mistaken, you can see if an account is the same user who uploaded the game. George Mucus (talk) 19:54, 13 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
plus why would someone lie about a visual novel 2603:900A:2300:1802:30A5:C060:730A:D804 (talk) 00:45, 14 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
