[edit]This information seems to be pretty accurate. Clarence Avant is a music industry legend!

Not sure what specific facts about Mr Avant are in question. Reginald Hudlin produced and directed a comprehensive documentary, where many of the people cited in this entry directly comment on the details of Clarence Avant's life, including Barack Obama, Bill Clinton, David Geffen, Andre Harrell, Lew Wasserman, Bill Withers, Sean Combs, Jimmy Jam, Terry Lewis.
Please be specific! — Preceding unsigned comment added by Rjtiiineworleans (talk • contribs) 15:02, 15 June 2019 (UTC)

Avant and Rodrigues
[edit]Avant also managed rodrigues and produced his album Sugar man. To date Rodrigues, who is poor and old has not received one cent from Avant, notwithstanding the album having sold hundreds of thousands of copies — Preceding unsigned comment added by 105.186.172.42 (talk) 08:48, 2 March 2019 (UTC)
- As far as this is concerned it has been resolved legally. No details have been publicly released. It's important to note that Rodriguez himself was pulled into a lawsuit between Gomba Music and Interior music for hiding his identity on tracks on COLD FACTS by using the name Sixth Prince.

- If you feel this needs more coverage, it would likely be better takling it on Sixto Rodriguez page and then using that as a citation here. Cathcam (talk) 20:34, 5 October 2023 (UTC)
