Clara, my grandmother has passed away on 14th of October 2015. — Preceding unsigned comment added by גליה פרידמן (talkcontribs) 16:50, 24 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Galiah, I messaged you about this on your home page. Can you quote a published source, such as a death notice in a newspaper? It doesn't have to be available on the internet and it doesn't have to be in English. Regards. MaxBrowne2 (talk) 23:24, 24 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]
I don't think that there was any article in the newspaper since my family haven't shared the information.
I didn't know how to answer you in a private message. If you explain to me how to do it, I can try again. — Preceding unsigned comment added by גליה פרידמן (talkcontribs) 05:14, 25 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]
I'll ask at one of the noticeboards. It would be good if the article could include this information but if it has not previously been publicly released, we have a problem because wikipedia has a policy that anything published here must have a WP:RS (reliable source). I've asked here: [1]. MaxBrowne2 (talk) 22:34, 25 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]
They say no, we can't use it without a source. My suggestion is to write a short piece on her and send it to the Israeli Chess Federation, email address is office@chessfed.org.il. If they publish it on their website, then wikipedia will be able to link to it and record the information. Yes, we have some silly rules here! Sorry. OK I found the info at billiongraves.com. Just one question, her headstone says she is the daughter of Geza and Elizabeth Zeil (spelling?). This is different from the name Hodosi, is there an explanation for this? Or have I just got the translation wrong? Regards. MaxBrowne2 (talk) 00:35, 26 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Never mind, "ז״ל" is equivalent to "RIP". My translation of the headstone based on google research and scant knowledge of Hebrew: "Here lies Clara Friedman, daughter of the late Geza and Elizabeth, died 14 October 2015, 1920-2015, 'The soul of my lord shall be bound in the bundle of life with the Lord thy God' (1 Samuel 25:29)". Thanks Galia, I learned a few things. MaxBrowne2 (talk) 23:14, 26 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]

I'm sorry but I haven't been here for a few days, I see that you got the information. Thanks for the cooperation and help.
