How did gonnorhea become known as the clap — Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.131.205.156 (talkcontribs) 09:34, 8 February 2008‎

Somebody wisely and famously said that "nothing that is human" is unworthy of study. Yet, as with copraphilia and pederasty, some things do indeed seem "so nasty" to contemplate! I exercise what I hope all W'pians wish for one another, the right to self-censor. So I note merely that Google does and (as it is to be hoped) probably always will make the answer to this burning query (to brand it as a "queery" would be kettle-blacking!) available to those (such as i), with the stomach and alleged curiosity to resort to that extreme effort of the aforesaid research.
