Does anyone think that there is enough information to warrant full article, I have only watch it once but with it being released on BBC Store for this first time and it being the first special, could this be an article?

Could always try it in a sandbox and see how it looks.

I started a userspace draft back in March User:AnemoneProjectors/CivvyStreet but I didn't think there was enough info to warrant it being made into an article proper. If we could find some reception for it then I might reconsider. anemoneprojectors 19:02, 17 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]
I just spotted this on IMDB under Trivia http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0808243/trivia?ref_=tt_trv_trv "This was partly filmed on the Elstree EastEnders backlot and studio set, with redressing to make it look like the 1939-1945 period. The blitz underground sequence was filmed at Holborn underground station in London. The original working title was Underground."
Its a shame we can find a more reliable source for this information.

Also I remember on BBC Genome it mention that in The Radio Times (Issue 3394, 15 December 1988) on page 15 there was a feature written about it. I have asked BBC Genome if its possible to obtain this (although it might be unlikely because its The Radio Times copyright). Failing that I hope my Library has back issue of The Radio Times (Unlikely through). Thanks 23:51, 17 December 2016 (UTC)
Strangely the First 10 Years books has CivvyStreet's airdate as 22 December 1988 but of course we know it to be 26 December 1988 (Although after reading this I did double check). https://www.flickr.com/photos/30536759@N07/31722061855/in/album-72157671061439105/

Thanks @Kelvin 101: if we could find a better source for that IMDb trivia it would be great. Sadly anyone could have added it. Also thanks for the First 10 Years scan, and good luck with the Radio Times! anemoneprojectors 07:50, 19 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]
I had a quick look on HighBeam and found a little casting info for Albert Beale [1], but that was all. - JuneGloom07 Talk 02:18, 20 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]
@JuneGloom07:Hi I visited the link but unfortunately I cannot see that information, do you need to subscribe to view this? Thanks Kelvin 101 (talk) 14:10, 20 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]
Sorry, yes you need a subscription. But I'll quote the relevant bit here:

Gary Olsen has an astonishing secret - he regularly appears in EastEnders. "I did a special which was set in the war, called Civvy Street, and I played Albert Beale," says the 2Point4 Children star. "In it I married Lou. Our wedding photo can be seen on the Fowlers' sideboard." But tight-fisted Gary moans: "I don't get a penny for it."

Like I said, it's only a small bit of info. - JuneGloom07 Talk 15:22, 20 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]
That's useful. Fancy adding it to my userspace draft? P.S. Well done for finding this discussion! anemoneprojectors 17:14, 20 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]
@JuneGloom07: Thanks any information, no matter how small is still useful. Thanks Kelvin 101 (talk) 17:19, 20 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]
@AnemoneProjectors and JuneGloom07: Do you think the plot is ok or could it be more in depth as I might rewatch CivvyStreet this week and could take some plot notes. Thanks Kelvin 101 (talk) 17:26, 20 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]
@Kelvin 101: Feel free to expand the plot, but don't go into too much detail if you can. I've never actually watched it, I don't think. So I should. anemoneprojectors 19:21, 20 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]
@AnemoneProjectors: I think we have found all the information that we can about CivvyStreet. Can we move it to the main space, can I ask if the deleted CivvyStreet title card was watermark with a UK Gold as I have a better quality version that could be scaled down to an acceptable resolution. Thanks Kelvin 101 (talk) 19:18, 26 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]
@Kelvin 101: If there's nothing else then I think it can be moved. It's still shorter than I'd have liked though. Mind if I do it tomorrow? I think the image was watermarked with UK Gold, so a new one would be good. anemoneprojectors 22:32, 26 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]
@AnemoneProjectors: Yeah tomorrow is good or technically today as I checking my messages later than usual. Thanks Kelvin 101 (talk) 00:40, 27 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]
