Civility and Incivility are Completely Different - DO NOT MERGE

[edit]

By their own definitions, these terms are completely separate things. Sure, there are some things that can be further embellished upon, but just a few short years ago this page didn't even exist. There was only a definition for incivility.

Don't merge – <There is a deep contrast between the words and meanings of the terms civility and incivility, and should remain separate for the benefit of the Wikipedia readers. That would be like saying that justice and injustice are the same. As you will see, even they have separate pages for their definitions, because they are unique: https://wiki.riteme.site/wiki/Justice & https://wiki.riteme.site/wiki/Injustice> Blippincott (talk) 18:37, 5 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]

After at least 10 days with no counter reply for merge request made in June 2020, the merge request was removed see Talk:Civic virtue Blippincott (talk) 17:25, 10 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]

nothing on emotions?

[edit]

Why are emotions not included in civility? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 50.40.220.247 (talk) 17:03, 5 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]

New section was added that speaks to the emotional side of Civility Directly, called "Empathy in Civility". Blippincott (talk) 17:22, 10 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]
