Deputy Mayor

[edit]

Deputy Mayor did end up standing down, said it was for family reasons. New deputy Mayor is Chris Van DerKlay as if this week. News article: http://www.bluemountainsgazette.com.au/story/2562395/change-at-top-as-deputy-mayor-relinquishes-role/?cs=1180The current deputy mayor is under investigation for his actions at Winmalee High School where he left for a sexual relationship with a student. It's certainly a significant event and the first time a sitting Councillor is likely to be removed from Council under such circumstances. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 121.217.34.219 (talk) 20:46, 15 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]
