[edit]Who can change the titel of this article in "Parc du Cinquantenaire / Jubelpark"? Thanks
- We shouldn't use slashes in article titles. But I am wondering whether "Cinquantenaire" (and not "Parc du Cinquantenaire") is the real life consensus in the English Language, or if it's called that only inside the wiki bubble. - SSJ ☎ 22:29, 8 July 2008 (UTC)
- I agree that slashes aren't very good. Certainly it's often referred to as simply "Cinquantenaire" among English-speaking expats; but a quick and undefinitive check on google suggests that the most widely used name online may be "Cinquantenaire Park". I've heard very few non-Dutch speakers refer to it as the Jubelpark. As ever with Brussels subjects, it's difficult to get a definitive most commonly used name. --David Edgar (talk) 08:43, 9 July 2008 (UTC)
- There's actually also a difference between Cinquantenaire/Jubelpark and Cinquantenaire itself. The former denotes the entire parc and complex, whereas the later is often more specifically used with regards to the triumphal arch. -- fdewaele, 9 July 2008, 19:10.
