Hello, I will be reviewing this article. Check back soon for a full review! CarpetCrawler (talk) 02:49, 1 April 2009 (UTC)
GA on hold
[edit]The article looks good, but I have some concerns.
- There should be no citations in the lead. Also, the lead should be a summary of the entire article.
- Too many mentions of "Showbiz Pizza Palace" and "Pizza Time Theatre". Change it up a little, as it gets repitive to read. Maybe sometimes change it to "The restaurant", or "both restaurants" sometimes? :)
- The final paragraph of the "Corporate history" section could use some wikifying, especially the "Chapter 11 Bankruptcy" part, as some people may not know what that means.
- Maybe you could combine the "Road show" and "LIVE! show" into one section?
- The bottom four sections are quite short. Is there anyway to beef up the sections, or combine them?
When these comments have been addressed, I will take another look at the article and pass it. Please send me a message on my talkpage when you have addressed my concerns, or if you have any questions. I will give you seven days to address my concerns. Good luck! - Thank you for the comments! My only objection is the first concern. There is no policy against citations in leads. The overall consensus is to either have no citations at all in the lead or the entire lead with citations. This consensus was brought up in the Barack Obama article. The other concerns are well justified, and I will get o them ASAP! Dylanlip (talk) 01:23, 3 April 2009 (UTC)
- Also, the lead can't be a summary of the article. It shouldn't contain the health concerns, hile the article itself has no place for a seperate section for number of locations/stock information. The lead only contains basic descriptive information, which is what is meant to be there. The remaining information is meant to be in the article, not the lead. - OK, points taken. Feel free to leave me a message on my talkpage when you finish up addressing my concerns, or if you have anymore questions. :) CarpetCrawler (talk) 05:02, 3 April 2009 (UTC)
- Hmmm, I see an I.P. has made a large batch of random, unsourced edits. I suggest removing them if they are vandalism, or finding sources for them if they are true. One notable thing I see that they added is a "List of covers by Chuck E. Cheese". CarpetCrawler (talk) 03:50, 4 April 2009 (UTC)
- Actually, in all honesty, is a list of covered songs REALLY all that notable? My belief is that it should just be removed, it's pointless trivia. CarpetCrawler (talk) 03:58, 4 April 2009 (UTC)
- The list was removed, along with an unneeded last line in the paragraph above. Now it is ready. Dylanlip (talk) 13:35, 4 April 2009 (UTC)
- Whoops! I didn't know that you had replied to this, I was so busy working on an article. Sorry about that! Anyway, yes, the article looks fine now, so I'll pass it. :) Great job! CarpetCrawler (talk) 02:19, 5 April 2009 (UTC)
