Audio Feed Currently Bugged
[edit]As of release 51.0.2704.53 the audio transmission is bugged and does not function. A bug report was filed at the link below, though the issue has not been remedied as of release 53.0.2785.116 on 9/19/2016 https://bugs.chromium.org/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=482932 — Preceding unsigned comment added by 174.102.154.253 (talk) 19:29, 19 September 2016 (UTC)
Would like to see vulnerability assessment and references
[edit]No, it does not have a 100 device limit
[edit]I have 112 devices connected to one Chrome Remote Desktop account. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HhL7UG9rX7U It's absolutely untrue that the limit is 100. Perhaps it did years ago but has since been lifted to an unknown higher value or no artificial limit at all. Danwat1234 thesecond (talk) 18:50, 19 August 2022 (UTC)
- @Danwat1234 thesecond: Please provide a reliable source to support that claim. YouTube videos are not reliable per WP:RSPYT. InfiniteNexus (talk) 20:13, 19 August 2022 (UTC)
- That is MY Youtube video. How would you like me to prove it to you? You can come visit me so you can see first hand 100% transparent. You can cross-reference the list of computers shown in the video with the list of computers in the Sidock@Home, Rosetta@home Distributed Computing project pages for user danwat1234. They will be the same. Danwat1234 thesecond (talk) 17:59, 20 August 2022 (UTC)
- If it's your video, that would violate our policy on WP:OR. Any analysis you make here is also OR. We need an actual reliable source that says the same thing, per WP:VNT. InfiniteNexus (talk) 18:03, 20 August 2022 (UTC)
- I now have over 260 computer simultaneously online and accessible via Chrome Remote Desktop, shown in timestamp 2:13 . I do not know how to provide a 'reliable' source other than that you can verify authenticity of my setup. You could set up over 200 virtual machines and try it yourself. - January 2024; I now have 226 computers registered under 1 Google account in Remote Desktop. 226 registered, 224 online, all accessible. The 100 device limit is a lie. photos dot app dot goo dot gl slash rqta19FMYTBi5F817 Danwat1234 thesecond — Preceding undated comment added 18:42, 5 January 2024 (UTC)
- November 2024; I have reached 300 devices, now getting the error "You do not have permission to perform that action". I have tried multiple machines, it seems to be the true hard limit. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZhpFqLqvo4E Danwat1234 thesecond — Preceding undated comment added 16:03, 3 November 2024 (UTC)
- Upon closer inspection, the source being used to support that statement in the article does not even mention a 100-device limit, so I have removed it. Perhaps you could have noted that in the first place rather than posting YouTube videos for two years. InfiniteNexus (talk) 18:28, 4 November 2024 (UTC)
