Notability
[edit]If a subject is to qualify for its own article in Wikipedia that subject must meet minimum criteria for WP:Notability. At present, this article contains no references, and only one in-line citation — the book about Concorde written by Orlebar. This one citation does not amount to verifiability that Orlebar is sufficiently notable.
The article claims only that Orlebar was an airline pilot who flew Concorde, wrote a book about the aeroplane, and now makes occasional public comment about aviation on radio, TV and in the press. This is unlikely to qualify Orlebar as sufficiently notable for an article in Wikipedia.
Articles that fail to adequately establish WP:Notability are likely to be deleted.
I have added the References banner and a Neutrality disputed tag in the hope that editors who have contributed to this article will return and supply suitable references and in-line citations. Dolphin51 (talk) 05:06, 23 March 2009 (UTC)
