Whose wife?

"His elder son, another Christopher, was born on Barbados in 1668,[5] and then a younger son called John, who was an imbecile. His wife's name was Gertrude." I assume the wife in question was that of the subject of this article, but the placement of the sentence makes it appear that she was married to the imbecile son. --Khajidha (talk) 03:53, 12 September 2016 (UTC)[reply]
