Catholics and UÇK

[edit]

The article does not mention that the first victims of the UÇK after the end of Sebian governance were Albanian Catholics who were killed and their village destroyed. Being Albanians and Catholics those people were certainly not accomplices of the orthodox or "socialist" Serbs. --131.220.75.34 (talk) 14:01, 22 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Can you elaborate on what you mean, as this is the first i am hearing of this. Some number of KLA soldiers and commanders were Catholics. Can you provide a source for your claims? Thank you.Resnjari (talk) 16:17, 22 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Resnjari It appears to be a myth propagated on Serbian extreme nationalist websites that has seen some echo on both the far-left (pacifist) and far-right ('neo-nationalist') circles in the West. I recommend not engaging, they take words to be food. --Calthinus (talk) 20:25, 22 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]
I don't know if it comes outright from nationalist circles or could be left over rumors/murmurings from the 1999 war, but if there is substance to it, the above IP should provide something showing such things, otherwise those comments will be treated skeptically.
