Chris or Christopher?

[edit]

All the official sources I see go for "Christopher". SellymeTalk 04:40, 3 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

  • My quick check suggests all official sources say Christopher and all casual sources say Chris. Certainly I cannot ever recall hearing him called Christopher in any audiovisual media. I don't know what the official Wikipedia policy is in these sorts of scenarios, but my sense of what "feels right" would be leaving the article as Chris Yarran, redirecting Christopher Yarran to Chris Yarran, and changing the article's introduction to reflect Christopher "Chris" Yarran.Aspirex (talk) 11:21, 3 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]
This article is unlikely to get much attention, so I'll wait for one or two more voices, and then make a few edits accordingly. SellymeTalk 12:14, 3 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]
