Wrong Chris Woods.

[edit]

Whadda you do when there's two (or more) people of the same name, and only one of them comes up under a search? I'm looking for the artist Chris Woods, and I'm getting a football player. Shouldn't a list of them come up, to choose from? Or has simply nobody started an article on my guy yet?

Classification

[edit]

I have re-rated this article as start-class only. It needs a vast amount of work before it can reach "B"-class - some references would do for a start. --Daemonic Kangaroo (talk) 07:30, 20 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Article intro summary & Sprott goal

[edit]

1) In summarising Chris Woods' achievements in his long career, the most notable points for the summary do not include understudying Peter Shilton

2) The Adrian Sprott goal is relevant to this article for two reasons:-

a) it brought about the end of the 1196 no goals conceded referenced in this article b) The significance of the goal to the article is compounded by the goal causing one of the greatest Scottish Cup upsets in history. Woods was the conceding goalkeeper — Preceding unsigned comment added by 112.118.188.69 (talk) 01:23, 7 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]

  1. Do you seriously think that the two words "43 cap" are sufficient to sum up his international career?
  2. I have restored and re-written the mention of Sprott. Best wishes 92.26.167.46 (talk) 08:11, 7 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]
