Professor 1977-2005?
[edit]To quote from Past and Present, 195 Supplement 2 (2007), List of Contributors (pp. 325-328), 'Chris Wickham taught at the University of Birmingham between 1977 and 2005...' If he had been Professor for all that time I think it would say so. This page from OUP, Framing the Early Middle Ages says that he got his DPhil in 1975. To be a professor just two years after getting a doctorate seems unlikely. Even Rowan Williams and Timothy Barnes didn't get professorial chairs until their mid-30s.--Oxonian2006 (talk) 13:10, 6 February 2008 (UTC)
- Problem solved. See article.--Oxonian2006 (talk) 20:00, 6 February 2008 (UTC)
Title of article should likely be changed
[edit]The subject goes by the name of "Chris Wickham" and all his publications are titled that way. The article should be titled in that style and the full name given in the intro.Emory1989 (talk) 16:44, 29 May 2012 (UTC)
