top five reasons
[edit]The top five reasons why Chris Webber shouldn't be blamed for his time-out in the 1993 NCAA basketball final should be added.User:TMC1982
- Hello, I beg to differ. As well-documented as this information is, it is barely considered encyclopedic. An encyclopedia contains facts, not analyses. Though much of what contained in the list can be largely, or perhaps overwhelmingly agreed upon, essentially it is analyses and deductions of established facts, and not the facts themselves. The only facet of this list that gives it any merit and thereby affords its mention in wikipedia is the fact it was featured on a television program, the articulation of which appears on this very website. Therefore, this list, should it deserve mention at all, should be contained within its relevant article - the article about the TV show it appeared on.
Having said that, I have at least provided a link to the reasons, which appear on List of The Top 5 Reasons You Can't Blame... reasons where it ideally should stay.

PoV being added
[edit]Someone had sneaked in the following line after the section about the NCAA striking his achievements from their records:
"Given Webber lied about the events for years leading up to the trial, one would be hard pressed to believe anything that comes up out his mouth. His selfish actions brought great shame to the Unversity and relegated the basketball program to second tier status."
I've removed it, keep an eye out for its return!
The Timeout??
[edit]Shouldn't there be some mention of the infamous time-out? The time-out is the only thing I like about Webber, and I don't think it would be POV to say "One of the most memorable blunders in sports history" or something like that.
- It is mentioned in the College Career section. --SubSeven 15:55, 27 April 2007 (UTC)
- No it isn't. I came here specifically for this information and it is nowhere to be found. What a useless puff piece of an article. 20:27, 24 July 2009 (UTC) —Preceding unsigned comment added by 155.188.183.6 (talk)

listed height
[edit]Most sources I have seen over my lifetime have listed Webber at either 6'10" (most common), or 6'11" (less common), but until today I have NEVER seen him listed at 6'9". Where did this height come from?Robbmonster (talk) 06:50, 12 August 2020 (UTC)
