Location of birth
[edit]His MHA bio says he was born in Grand Falls-Windsor, but that community did not exist as such at the time of his birth. (Amalgamation was about 20 years ago, so that would have him working as a paramedic at age 5 or less?) However, the source doesn't give us enough info to know if he was born in Grand Falls or Windsor. Should we leave it as is? Should we remove it from the infobox and put it in prose as "Tibbs was born in what is now known as Grand Falls-Windsor"? Trying to get accuracy in nomenclature while sticking to what can be found in published sources. @Tibbschris and NotoriousGrand: Courtesy pings to both of you, since you have been involved in editing the article —C.Fred (talk) 12:05, 20 October 2022 (UTC)
The hospital is in Grand Falls, so unless he was born at home, it is far more likely he was born there. NotoriousGrand (talk) 12:23, 20 October 2022 (UTC)
I think we should be consistent. If we go with the name of the province at the time of his birth, we should have the name of the town at the time of his birth. With the lack of proper sources, it may be easier and more accurate to use the current names for both. NotoriousGrand (talk) 14:42, 20 October 2022 (UTC)
