[edit]Sir Chris himself produced this material. Please do not delete! —Preceding unsigned comment added by Tolcher (talk • contribs)
- The fact that he produced it is a good reason to delete it -- people aren't allowed to write their own WP biographies. -- ArglebargleIV (talk) 00:36, 3 April 2009 (UTC)
- Actually, as reviewing administrator, although they are asked not to, we do not delete because of it if they insist-- see WP:AUTO and WP:COI. But what makes a good web page usually doesn't make a good encyclopedia page. Since Powell is probably notable. I reduced the article to a stub. Add some more information please, including his education. And add third party independent published reliable sources, print or online, but not blogs or press releases, or material derived from press releases. See our FAQ about businesses, and articles like this. That page gives advice on how to ask formal permission, but don't do it -- rewrite instead. What you can and should add, if you give formal GFDL licensing for it, is his photograph. By the way, the article is about him as an individual, not his brothers. If they are notable enough, write separate articles. DGG (talk) 02:57, 3 April 2009 (UTC)
