Senator Chris Harris may possibly have a highway named after him. I grew up knowing him, I dated his son for 6 1/2 years so he was a father figure to me. I think, and hope, this highway very well deserves to be named after him :) Below is the article explaining: http://www.star-telegram.com/news/traffic/your-commute/article132041094.html — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2605:6001:E2C3:F200:498F:85D4:5CA7:EB93 (talk) 08:02, 21 June 2017 (UTC)
Neutrality and relevance
[edit]This article seems to read like a self-written biography. Some of the language is future tense and hence impossible to verify. Some of the language regarding the district does not seem relevant to the subject, unless facts are provided clearly indicating how the district characteristics were caused by the subject or are otherwise relevant to the subject as a legislator.--Rpclod (talk) 22:02, 18 March 2012 (UTC)
Regarding the article title
[edit]See Category:Texas State Senators for an idea of the naming conventions for disambiguation. Chris Harris (politician) is insufficient disambiguation, due to Chris Harris (New South Wales politician). – Wbm1058 (talk) 23:11, 14 August 2015 (UTC)
Update
[edit]The 2008 election needs to be added on. That was the last election Harris was in before he retired from the Texas Senate. Many thanks-RFD (talk) 15:09, 21 December 2015 (UTC)
