Material removed

Hi all, I've removed the following from the article:

After Reyes won the All-Filipino Cup in his first conference as coach in 1993, two more coaches from the Purefoods franchise achieved the same feat. In 1997, Eric Altamirano won the All-Filipino Cup in his first conference as coach while current Giants head coach Ryan Gregorio, acting as coach for Altamirano that year, won the 2002 Governors Cup in his first conference as an acting head coach.

I think this would be more relevant to the article All-Filipino Cup.

I have also removed the following:

Reyes' first championship with the Tigers was held on Christmas day 2002.

This is already explained in the article, there is no need for the information duplicated in a "trivia" section. Aside from the fact that this is not trivia (trivia being "unimportant information"), this is why I don't like trivia sections: someone adds the material without having actually attempted to read the article and so they miss the fact that the information is already there.

I have also removed:

He is known for his unique fashion sense wearing casual long sleeves while coaching the PBA instead of the usual uniform-like polo.

Is this really important? If so, then it's probably worthwhile getting an external commentator who has noted this, we really can't say that his fashion sense is "unique" as this is holding a point of view. - Tbsdy lives (talk) 08:04, 4 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]
