Cleanup DAB and merge
[edit]- This article was stalled for years, so I boldly:
- converted to DAB and cleaned up per AfD above
- marked as (further) cleanup needed as it appears to:
- only have one unique entry (and a duplicate...)
- there is only one unique entry so I propose article is merged into Chirp (disambiguation)

- You wrote that soon after you discarded 2/3 of the text. You summarized (and i've taken the liberty of parsing your -- of course -- unformatted ed-summary):
- convert to dab per
- AfD and
- fact this article was stalled for years, [and]
- mark as [Dab-]cleanup needed
- convert to dab per
- (BTW, a frequent Dab repairer opined you'd finished the job, and untagged; you've since restored the tag.)
First, I'll note that neither the Keep call nor a "stall" (let alone your assessment that a state of "stall" obtains) justifies the removal of the content; another description of the 4 years lack of change is that a consensus had been established that the page was satisfactory, and that your deletion of content deserves prior discussion. Of the 8 (i count the nominator, who meets the IMO routine criteria) who used either the imperative mode or a standard format, the 50% who mentioned Dab conversion (even adding the additional 6% who did neither) are no consensus for a Dab, let alone for discarding text.
Two searches w/in WP for "unique entry" (native search excluding main namespace, and Google excluding non-adjacent occurrences) suggest it has no clear meaning among us. I'm inclined to construe you as meaning "an article devoted to the topic, as opposed to an one providing information on the topic in the course of covering its own (different) topic"; perhaps you'll clarify.
I've more thots, and i may well manage to state some of them without waiting for a response.
