Given name list oddly ends alphabetically at J

[edit]

@Clarityfiend, Ost316, John Cline, Daniel Carrero, Punkyfish3000, AuthorAuthor, Julietdeltalima, and CHIP72: I am very curious why the given names list on this page ends with surnames starting with the letter J alphabetically. I don't see any point in the page history where content got deleted.--TonyTheTiger (T / C / WP:FOUR / WP:CHICAGO / WP:WAWARD) 02:26, 26 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]

@TonyTheTiger: My guess is it was never completed. Maybe Dabfix only dove so far at that point due to all the other titles that contain "chip" or maybe I was planning on revisiting the page to keep running the tool. I can't get that tool to run anymore and User:Dispenser does not seem to be actively supporting it, though, so I no longer know an easy way to find entries that should be included in disambiguation/SIA pages. —Ost (talk) 15:28, 26 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]
User:Ost316, tool. Man, I use the searchbar and time. How do tools work to create dabs?--TonyTheTiger (T / C / WP:FOUR / WP:CHICAGO / WP:WAWARD) 21:47, 26 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Responded at User Talk:TonyTheTiger#Dabfix to keep this talk page on-topic. —Ost (talk) 02:57, 27 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]
  • I agree with you that it's odd and join with Ost316 in the assumption that it represents the incompleteness of the list. My own contributions on Name SIA's are primarily associated with nicknames, however, being intrigued: I will work on updating the given names (as time permits). Thanks for pointing this out.--John Cline (talk) 06:14, 1 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]
