A forthcoming re-appraisal of Chingkankousaurus fragilis (Brusatte et. al. in press) confirms the tyrannosauroid classification of Chingkankousaurus as done by Molnat et. al. (1990), but renders the genus a nomen dubium in Tyrannosauroidea.
