[edit]how did the riot end and who was involved in this riot?
Should probably be renamed to "Singapore Chinese schools riots". -- Миборовский 03:11, 14 June 2006 (UTC)
- The current name is consistent with the "Singapore Chinese Middle School Students Union" which i believe was the main org behind the riot. Any reason to use the other name or is there conflict with another historic event. How about Singapore Chinese Middle School riots? --Vsion 05:03, 14 June 2006 (UTC)
- There is no "(Singapore) Chinese Middle School". If it was organised by that union, include the union in the title. -- Миборовский 05:14, 14 June 2006 (UTC)
- This is complicated (can't wait for the singlish-wikipedia, then there won't be any problem). Anyway, adding "Union" is still no good; there were many protestors who were not members of the union. Let's try again; how about Chinese middle school riots? Btw, what does the MOE history textbook say? --Vsion 05:30, 14 June 2006 (UTC)
- That should be good, but I think it's best to disambiguate by adding Singapore, just in case there are other middle school riots... (interesting how middle school/high school kids that age were politically active... too active, while they're mostly lambs now.) -- Миборовский 05:44, 14 June 2006 (UTC)
- Most are lambs, although there is a "White elephants" squad from RGS. --Vsion 05:54, 14 June 2006 (UTC)
