Trim quote

[edit]

Once this article gets some more meat, could we trim the quote about the song origin? Some of it is borderline rambling. StevePrutz (talk) 03:12, 24 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Yeah, it should be trimmed down a bit. - -The Spooky One (talk to me) 03:16, 24 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

i think it actually is quite a good bit of insight into the song —Preceding unsigned comment added by 69.159.54.16 (talk) 15:27, 24 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Axl Rose Not Lead Singer?

[edit]

There has been some debate to whether or not Axel Rose is the lead singer on the song. Can anybody confirm who sings on this song? Mr. C.C. (talk) 08:01, 2 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

It's Axl Rose. He Sings on every GN'R Song except a few songs from "The Spaghetti Incident" which Duff Sang. But he sings lead vocals on ever song on Chinese Democracy. - -The Spooky One (talk to me) 03:01, 3 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]
His voice has changed from the good old days, but I believe that is him. StevePrutz (talk) 00:33, 10 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Liner Notes say: Vocals: Axl Rose, Background Vocals: Dizzy Reed, Tommy Stinson - So that should be clear. --Say Headcheese!--hexaChord2 00:42, 10 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]
One thing i've learned from listening to GN'R is Axl has a very dynamic voice range. - -' The Spook (TALK) (Share the Love with Barnstars) 03:16, 10 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]
I believe that Dizzy is singing the lead vocals on the verses --190.245.10.225 (talk) 23:39, 2 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Pretty sure that's not the case, at least axl sings the whole song live. And it sure sounds like axl to me!Lies5150 (talk) 22:06, 3 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Banned

[edit]

We should include somewhere that this song is the primary reason for the CD's being banned in China, for lyrics like "blame it on the Falun Gong" and other stuff... —Preceding unsigned comment added by KILLER BOB11694 (talkcontribs) 16:28, 25 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Video

[edit]

I've removed the Video section from this article. There simple is *no* official video for any of the new songs, all videos that you find are fan made. GNR has announced an offical video for better (www.gunsroses.com), but has failed to release it yet. Roax (talk) 15:42, 5 July 2009 (UTC)Roax, July 5 2009[reply]
