Genus/species authority
[edit]Right now the authority for the species C. yingi is listed as "Wang et al., 2018 Huang et al. 2018". How are there two authorities for a single taxon?! The Huang et al paper didn't name the genus or the species (rather it gives the authority correctly as Wang et al.) so I'm fixing it. Umimmak (talk) 14:43, 2 May 2018 (UTC)
- Yes, this is right. Ideally we'd use a secondary source, but there doesn't seem to be one yet. Peter coxhead (talk) 17:24, 2 May 2018 (UTC)
- Sorry about that, both teams were originally describing the species independently and then sort of collaborated after both got into nature, I hadn't clued in to the fact that only one team got description credit, my apologies. Hemiauchenia (talk) 18:47, 2 May 2018 (UTC)
Chimerarachne images in Morphobank
[edit]Hello, in Morphobank there are several images of Chimerarachne (cc0) if someone wants to upload them to Commons. Iezer (talk) 20:57, 4 April 2023 (UTC)
- You already seem to have uploaded the best ones, many thanks for this. Hemiauchenia (talk) 21:07, 4 April 2023 (UTC)
