Redirect to Yaldā
[edit]I oppose deletion, but I believe this article should be redirected to Yaldā, and the content should be merged with it. In fact 12:28, 7 January 2012 (UTC)
- Does it have any reliable information to be merged with Yalda article ? We use the merge when the second article has something new to the previous one : What is the new information in this article to be add to the Yalda ? --Alborz Fallah (talk) 11:22, 8 January 2012 (UTC)
- There could be a sub-section in Yalda, mentioning the culture in Azerbaijan. Both countries have the same root and culture. Only after Treaty of Turkmenchay and Treaty of Gulistan, they have been seperated. In fact 11:42, 8 January 2012 (UTC)
- Already it has a reference to the Yalda tradition in Azerbaijan republic . Which part from this article are we going to add on a subsection ?--Alborz Fallah (talk) 13:20, 8 January 2012 (UTC)
- Where exactly in Yaldā has the Yalda tradition in Azerbaijan republic been mentioned ? In fact 03:26, 9 January 2012 (UTC)
- Let's just redirect it and state that it is also celebrated in Azerbaijan republic due to the reasons I have mentioned above. Regards, In fact 10:32, 9 January 2012 (UTC)
- I just checked the source. It only mentions the Iranian Azerbaijan, but not Azerbaijan Republic. That's why I just mentioned "Iranian Azerbaijan" in Yaldā. In fact 12:48, 10 January 2012 (UTC)

- OK , no problem . I'm not sure the tradition still exist in the republic or not ? If yes , a subsection can be add to Yalda article . --Alborz Fallah (talk) 11:53, 11 January 2012 (UTC)
